Voice of The Treetops

At St Andrew’s, we recognise the value and importance of everyone having a voice. In Treehouse groups pupils discuss topics important to our school, as well as considering national and global topics.

The Treetops groups meet 2 - 3 times a term.  The groups have been arranged "vertically" so that each  has a mixture of children from EYFS up to Year 6.  Each Treetop group is led by  Year 6 children.  The Treetops Council meet with teachers the week before to discuss the agenda.  It might be a focus on our Zones of Regulation or maybe a vote on which charity we can support.

The Treetops Council then share the agenda with the Year 6s who then lead the session.  Each session finishes with a "Community Builder" game and a prayer.
